One of the best indie games of 2024 is making its way to PlayStation consoles in March as today Microbird Games announced that Dungeons Of Hinterberg will be launching on March 13th for PlayStation 4 and 5.
Dungeons Of Hinterberg originally released on July 18th 2024 for Xbox and PC. It was met with rave reviews, including our own and was even nominated for indie of the year at our game awards. The review, written by yours truly, said this of Dungeons of Hinterberg: "With it's aesthetically pleasing art style to its enjoyable characters and fantastic dungeon designs Dungeons Of Hinterberg is a must play"

In Dungeons Of Hinterberg you play as Luisa, a lawyer who has decided to go on vacation, but not just any old vacation. No she is going to the town of Hinterberg to tackle her dream of being a dungeon clearer. When something goes awry Luisa works her way through the dungeons to figure out what is going on in the city.
Persona Meets Dungeon Crawler
The game is setup in a Persona style way. You will wake up every morning, decide what dungeon you want to tackle (or maybe you wanna take a day to relax instead. After you complete the dungeon or day of rest you will come back to town, do some shopping for gear and supplies and then decide what to do for your evening. Whether that's go to a club, hang out with a fellow tourist or local or relax on your own, every decision will help you in some way.
I was also lucky enough to interview Microbird co-founder Philipp Seifried about the launch of Dungeons of Hinterberg back in August to discuss plans for the future and the process of creating the game. The interview is definitely worth a read if you are interested in the game.
As mentioned earlier Dungeoms Of Hinterberg is already available on Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC as well as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. March 13th it will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5.
