The moment a lot of people have been waiting for is almost here. Avowed, the latest RPG from Obsidian, is mere days away and it highlights the first wave of Xbox Game Pass games for February.
While Xbox has a pretty incredible anticipated first party lineup for 2025, none might be more anticipated than Avowed. The fantasy RPG set in the Pillars Of Eternity world is set to launch February 18th. Those who simply can’t wait can upgrade to the premium edition to play 5 days early on the 13th.
Of course that’s not the only game coming to Game Pass with this wave as Xbox has announced many via their blog. While it is the highlight there are a few others that might be of interest to gamers.
Xbox Game Pass February Wave 1 Games
- Another Crab’s Treasure (Console) _ February 5
- Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (Console) _ February 5
- Starfield (Xbox Series X|S) _ February 5
- Madden NFL 25 (Cloud, Console, and PC) EA Play _ February 6
- Kingdom Two Crowns (Cloud and Console) _ February 13
- Avowed (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) _ February 18
Madden 25 had been rumoured as of a couple weeks ago and is made official today. Kingdom Two Crowns is the only other “new” addition, with everything else already being in the service and simply joining the Standard tier.
Starfield joining standard will be of some interest to players. While originally available to all day 1 it was part of the new tier system that left console and is now back. Considering it might be the Xbox consoles biggest exclusive remaining at the moment it’s sure to get a few more players with this announcement.
Xbox has also confirmed what we knew on the weekend that 7 games will be leaving the service including the popular Tales Of Arise. Hopefully the loss of these games will sting a little less with the upcoming additions.
