The fifth instalment of IGN Fan Fest has been announced; a fun celebration of nerdy culture, from video games to comic books and movies. Alongside promising game announcements from titles like Monster Hunter: Wilds, WWE 2K25, and Alien: Rogue Incursion, IGN has teamed up with Xbox, bringing the ID@Xbox Showcase to Fan Fest.

As stated in IGN’s announcement, Fan Fest will run all week from February 24th to 28th. Fans will be able to tune in everyday for a livestream including “huge reveals, tons of trailers, gameplay, never-before-seen clips, and exclusive conversations with your favorite movie and TV stars.”

The ID@Xbox Showcase will be kicking off proceedings on Monday 24th February, an exciting start to mark the fifth anniversary of IGN Fan Fest. While no details have yet been given as to what to expect from the ID@Xbox Showcase, IGN will be providing more details over the coming weeks, including “the full schedule, more announcements, surprises, and inside looks at what promises to be the biggest Fan Fest yet.”

After the stellar showing Xbox put on at their Developer_Direct Showcase just over a week ago, it will be exciting to see what Xbox is working on regarding Indie games. Going as far back as the Xbox 360 with Xbox Live Arcade, the platform and publisher has always had a place for Indies. We even reported recently how Moon Studios had been in talks with Xbox about a possible Ori 3! Whatever the ID@Xbox Showcase brings to the IGN Fan Fest, it looks like 2025 is going to be a big year for Xbox.
