The cycle of the Xbox Game Pass service continues. With games constantly being added also comes games leaving. With a stacked end of January for the service coming we’ve for now need to talk about those games leaving, 6 in total.
Of course 6 games left the service earlier this month, meaning a total of 12 games will have left the service this month alone. While this round of cuts might not be big in terms of name recognition they are 6 solid indies. So what are the games leaving January 31st?

- Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem
- Maquette
- Death’s Door
- Anuchard
The biggest disappointment leaving is likely Death’s Door. The game was a strong game of the year contender for many when it released in 2021 as a timed Xbox exclusive in July. It came to other consoles later that same year in November.
Darkest Dungeon is another standout from the list. The roguelite RPG was a big indie hit way back in 2016 before coming to Xbox in 2018. Developer Redhook Games recently released a sequel, Darkest Dungeon 2, so it makes some sense to have the first leave the service.
If you are an achievement hunter you may want to check out Maquette before the end of the month as well. The game has become a staple in the achievement community due to its easy completion that can take just a couple of hours.
While losing games is never great, as mentioned at the top of the article the next few weeks is going to be stacked with new games on Game Pass. While we don’t know the full list of what’s coming yet we know games like Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: The Resistance, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector are all coming this month.
