You ready? This guy is fierce. A giant tiger with a katana?! Don’t worry. We got this. He is fast and has extremely strong punches so you will need to get acquainted with his attack patterns to avoid them the best you can.

First thing he will do to walk to the right and quickly pounce at you. Charge a heavy before stepping in to the pool and meet him on the right side of the pool to interrupt his attack before he can land it.

The biggest thing you need to know going in to this fight is timing. Dodging the second you think he will hit will get you killed. When you dodge the first attack, wait a second, dodge again. This goes doubly so for his last strike to ANY combo he does. When he has his katana out, the hits are so fast that I recommend dodging as you normally would. Pacing your dodges is key to this fight. I recommend going in and seeing how long you can survive simply dodging. Get used to the pacing before using potions and going in for a legit attempt at a win.

Don’t attack unless you are completely sure he is done attacking. He has an onslaught of follow up attacks.

• When he unsheathes his katana and stirs up the pool of blood around him, two tornados of the blood pool will spin towards you, followed by two air strike. Run from one side of the pool to the other to avoid the tornados and dodge the sword slashes. Be prepared to dodge a leap attack after. If he sheathes his sword, now is your chance to freeze/attack.
• Many of his punches come in pairs. The second is lengthy strike. So roll backwards and to the side as much as you can, because it is followed by a tail whip that will damage you if you are near him.
• If you see him start to pull his arms back, he will roar. Dodge sideways to avoid this range attack, then dodge again because he will follow it up with a strike from across the map
• If you hear him say something and grab his sword, he will slash at you from wherever he is standing. Never underestimate this guy’s range.
• When you see him turn to stone, two things can happen. A. He punches forward or B. He turns in to an invisible mist and will speed at you with his katana. Back away, try and keep an eye on him so you can dodge him.
