Black Myth Wukong: How to Beat the Yaoguai Chief “Tiger Vangaurd”

Lets get equipped for this fight. I used Tiger Subduing Pellets, evil repelling medicament, to increase my attack and defense, equipped Wind Bear Staff, and wore the ebongold outfit. I also used wandering wight and the steadfast transformation from the stone woman quest line.

The boss’s attacks are low hanging, he does a lot of sweeping attacks that are relatively easy to roll side ways from. The trick to this boss is to be on guard until he stand up. When he stands up, then is your time to strike. The only thing to really watch out for is his roar. When he puffs his chest, expect to dodge away.

The tactics I used to defeat him was using a tiger subduing pellet, using a pluck of many, and charging my heavy before going in to the fight. Once I exhausted my stamina bar, I froze him, regened a little, hit him for some attacks, and as soon as I saw an opening, I used wandering wight. This got him down to half his health before he could even pop off a hit.

If you are struggling, I always recommend going in with no intention of winning, just see how long you can survive by just dodging so you can learn his attack patterns and get acquainted with dodge timing.
