The month of December is always a good month for gamers to reflect on the year that was, culminating with The Game Awards. It's also a great time to look at the year to come. And let me tell you, looking ahead to 2025 is going to make you want another job to afford all the games, while also wanting to quit your job to find enough time to play all the games. Luckily for Xbox gamers, Xbox Game Pass can take care of that first problem in a major way.

Xbox Game Pass has long been considered the best value in all of gaming. Some will argue that value since you are just essentially renting your games, but nevertheless spending about $250 a year to get a ton of games is good value to most. Well in 2025 Xbox appears determined to show you just how much value Game Pass has.

The best part of what I'm about to highlight below is that there should be games that appeal to everyone. Prefer indies? Got that covered. Shooters? Check. RPGs? Check. And because of the value, you only need to be interested in about 3-5 of these games in order to get your moneys worth.
