Square Enix has announced today that it’s upcoming, Party Goes On Season for Foamstars, which starts on December 13 and lasts until January 17, 2025, will be the last new season of content. Don’t worry too much though, you will be able to still play the game.
After January 17th FOAMSTARS CUP will become an in game events named after characters on the roster. EXTREME PARTY will also take place regularly.
Kosuke Okatani, the producer of FOAMSTARS had this to share on the website.
“I don’t want this to sound like a final message since you will be able to continue playing the game. However I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to you all once again, so I’ve taken up my pen to write this producer’s letter.”.
He goes on to write that, “Throughout both the development and operational phases, we have faced many challenges. However, the support of all of you who play the game, along with the incredible fan art, has been a constant source of encouragement for the team. It’s because of this support that we’ve been able to overcome these difficulties, always with the goal of responding to your feedback.”.
He finishes his letter by saying that, “Again, the various online services for FOAMSTARS will continue to be available for your enjoyment. The party at Bath Vegas will carry on, thanks to the FOAMSTARS cast and, most of all, to you – the players!
We hope you will continue to enjoy FOAMSTARS for many years to come.

FOAMSTARS was released Febuary 6th on PS4 and PS5 and was apart of PS monthly games for Febuary. It currently sits at a 54% Meta critic score with and average user rating of 6.8.
