December Game Pass Games Unveiled

The final month of 2024 is finally here, and with that comes the last bunch of Xbox Game Pass announcements for the year. Overall the year has been solid for the service from a games perspective with first party games such as Hellblade 2 and Flight Simulator 2024 as well as third party day one games such as Flintlock The Siege Of Dawn and Dungeons Of Hinterberg. Xbox has perhaps saved their best for last however with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Yes Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is definitely the highlight of the month as the long awaited game from MachineGames is finally here. Indiana Jones launches on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on December 9th. Game Pass users can also purchase the premium upgrade to get into the game on December 6th should they decide they just can’t wait.

Other highlights for the first include Overthrown, a day 1 release on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Overthrown is a fun looking indie city builder that is launching into early access on December 5th and features up to 6 player co-op.

The other is the long awaited addition of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled to the service. Xbox has been slow to get the Activision-Blizzard back catalog out into Game Pass but in recent months we’ve been seeing them trickle in. Back in August the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy joined the service and now with CTR we have another. Could Crash 4 be next? We shall see. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will be on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Standard and PC on December 4th.

Also for those who only have Game Pass Core, you will be getting a couple new games as well with Goat Simulator, Crash Team Racing and Day Z coming to Core.

Yesterday we also learned what 8 games are leaving Game Pass in December and today we have the official confirmation from Xbox. However Xbox has also announced the games leaving the service on December 31st. This brings the total up to 14 games leaving the service for the month.
