Have you ever wondered what Mario Kart might look like in snowboarding form? Well developer byteparrot is making us wonder no more with Slopecrashers, an arcade snowboard racer dropping on Steam next month.
Slopecrashers is a throwback to the old days of gaming where the emphasis is on family fun and local split-screen. Chain together tricks to build up your speed and boosters in order to unleash speed boosts.
Of course it wouldn't be a Mario Kart like game without sabotage! Deploy a large variety of combat weapons such as explosives or a swarms of bees, and ensure nice guys really do finish last.
And with worlds varying from snowy mountains to lush jungles, there will be plenty of variety to keep your racing fresh.

Other features include:
- Super fast, expertly tuned arcade racer
- Built around a next-level physics engine for stunts and wild combos
- Local split screen (4 players) and online multiplayer (8 players)
- Single player: campaign mode with 126 events, plus feature-rich arcade mode
- 9 characters with around 90 customisation options each
- 7 different worlds with 2-4 tracks each
Slopecrashers will be launching on Steam December 4th for a price of $17.99USD. For more info you can check out the games Steam page here. The game is also expected to come to PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch at some point though no date is confirmed for those platforms.
