Good news techheads! The PlayStation 5 Pro is nearly amongst us. The souped up console launches on 7 November and promises to bring with it a whole range of new enhancements to games. Ahead of the launch the mid-gen upgraded machine, Sony have announced over 50 titles that will be getting PS5 Pro enhancements.
In case you missed the announcement form the PlayStation Tech Showcase in September, Sony revealed the upgraded PS5 to much discussion of its high price  ($699.99 USD, £699.99 GBP, €799.99 EUR, $959.99 Canadian and ¥119,980 JPY), lack of disc-tray and stand, as well as a certain amount of scepticism from the community (myself included).
Of course, we can’t really know for sure until we see it running, and it’s out in the wild proper. And it certainly looks like there’s plenty of choices with the long list games touting those PS5 Pro enhancements. What those enhancements are vary from game to game, but they all promise to receive updates in some form.

Some of the features of the PS5 Pro include:
- Upgraded GPU: With PS5 Pro, they are upgrading to a GPU that has 67% more Compute Units than the current PS5 console and 28% faster memory. Overall, this enables up to 45% faster rendering for gameplay, making the experience much smoother.
- Advanced Ray Tracing: they’ve added even more powerful ray tracing that provides more dynamic reflection and refraction of light. This allows the rays to be cast at double, and at times triple, the speeds of the current PS5 console.
- AI-Driven Upscaling: they’re also introducing PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), an AI-driven upscaling that uses a machine learning-based technology to provide super sharp image clarity by adding an extraordinary amount of detail.
