Hidden Cats in Spooky Town is a hidden object game centered almost entirely around one thing"”cats. Almost 1,000 of them to be more exact.
The latest release from Publisher Silesia Games and Developer Nukearts Studio arrives just in time for Halloween, bringing a special holiday theme to the game.
Gameplay
Hidden Cats in Spooky Town offers several different game modes. Begin your cat hunt in Normal Mode, where you’ll search for 120 cats. For a greater challenge, try Advanced Mode, which is similar to Normal but requires you to find 200 cats, plus a few spooky citizens along the way.

Each mode provides players with hints, but if you’re aiming for achievements alongside finding cats, it’s best to skip hints during your Normal and Advanced playthroughs.
A standout feature in the Hidden Cats series is that once you’ve found all the cats in an area, the map begins to fill with color. This addition makes it surprisingly easy to complete both modes without hints, and it's immensely satisfying to watch the map come to life. It adds an addictive layer to the kitty hunt as you work toward filling in the entire map with color.

Along with more cats to find, Advanced Mode also introduces a fun twist with special cats hidden throughout the level. Finding these unique cats unlocks new bonus levels within the game. These special cats tend to stand out a bit more than others, though they can still be tricky to locate, adding an extra challenge to the hunt.

Once you’ve found all the special cats in Advanced Mode, you'll unlock all six bonus levels. Each of these levels features a smaller map with a fun Halloween theme. For achievement hunters, feel free to use a hint to find the last elusive cat if needed in these bonus levels"”using hints here won't impact your achievements.

For those seeking the ultimate cat hunt, completing Normal and Advanced modes along with all six bonus levels unlocks the final level: After Party. In After Party, you’ll be tasked with finding 100 cats and 100 city residents, making it the ultimate challenge to finish off the game.
