Call Of Duty Black Ops 6’s campaign mode introduces a safe house and money gameplay mechanic. You can upgrade your safehouse as you progress through missions and find money out in combat. However one of the best ways early in the campaign to get a significant boost of money and upgrades is to complete complete a series of puzzles and crack the safe within the safe house. Doing so will get you well on your way to building up your base of operations, as well as net you a nice achievement/trophy for your troubles. We’re here to walk you through the puzzles and get the safe open!
Head To The Basement
You can complete this task and earn the achievement/trophy as soon as “The Rook: Arrival” which is right after the first mission and you are first introduced to the safehouse. After following the commands on screen by speaking to Woods and learning about the safe house mechanics, leave the room Woods is in and make 2 lefts to a hallway. Almost immediately to your right you will see a door, open it and head downstairs.

In the basement in the second room you will find a boiler that needs repairing. There is a piece of paper here that will give you clues, but our first step to unlocking the safe is fixing this boiler. To do so first go to the middle pipe where the water is leaking and turn it twice to turn the water off.

Next go to your left and turn the fuel line once. Finally head over to the pilot light and switch it on. If done correctly the pilot light should turn green. If it did you can go back to the middle “boiler” valve and turn it twice to turn the water back on and we can head back upstairs and proceed to the next step.

Piano Puzzle
After coming upstairs head back to the room where Marshall is with the big table and proceed past that room into what looks like a living room. Here on the table near the fireplace you will find a blacklight which you will need and can operate using left on the D-pad. Also in this room you will find a piano. We will need to play this piano using specific keys in order to unlock a secret door.

To find which keys you need to press equip your blacklight. There will be 5 spots on the wall around the room which will tell you what keys you need to press and in what order. It appears the keys are always the same, Mn, Pe, Cn,Ao, Pe. Keep in mind the notes are in Russian so it will look slightly different, however just incase yours is different you will know to look around the room.

When you play the piano you can control the blacklight with RS to find which keys are the correct ones and the LS to move the key selections. Once you have done this correctly the secret door immediately to your right of the piano will open and you can head downstairs.
Keypad Puzzle
At the bottom of the stairs you will find a door. If you’ve done the boiler room puzzle correctly then the door will be unlocked and you can enter. If you haven’t done the boiler room puzzle correctly the door will still be locked and you will need to head back and figure out what you’ve done wrong.

Down here you will find a series of halls however most will just lead to locked doors. For now turn right and head down the hall until you go through the first door frame. Immediately after going through that door frame turn to your right to find a door with a keypad.

The keypad code is random for everyone. You will need to use your blacklight to see which keys have been pressed the most and crack the code using this method. If you put the right number in the right spot it will light up green, yellow means its in the code but in the wrong spot and red means its not used at all. You get 5 chances to get it right and if you fail don’t sweat it, it simply restarts the mini game with a new code.
Once you’ve got the right code proceed into the room behind the previously locked door, the computer server room.
Computer Room
Once in the computer room head to the back of the room to find a computer.

Hack the computer and we will be met with a decipher puzzle. You will see your code word in the top of the screen and all you need to do is use the characters at the bottom to match up. While the actual coded numbers will be different for everyone, the 4 words that appear are the same. Your order may be different for the words but the words are Holding Room Bunker Open. In this case my code word is 4953180 (Holding) 7661 (Room) 256840 (Bunker) 0541 (Open). Each word the code resets.

Once done correctly this will open another door back in the main hallway so head back to the hallway where we opened the door with the keypad. Once back at the main hallway make a right and proceed down this hallway. Near the end of the hall you will come across a door on your left hand side that will be slightly ajar if you properly completed the computer room puzzle. Enter this room.
Interrogation Room
Inside this next room there will be a locked door to the right of the desks. To open it will require a lockpicking mini game which is a mini game you’ve likely played a million times over. Complete the mini game to open the door and enter the room and grab the key on the middle torture table.

Head back to the main hallway and back through the doorframe to where the keycode door was (it will now be on your left). Make a right here and head down the hallway until you get to a locked door on your left. A signal weak symbol should come up on your screen once you are close. Unlock this door using the key you just picked up.

Secret Living Quarters
I recommend turning on subtitles if you don’t have them on already before proceeding to the next step.
In this room you will find a radio to the left of the TV. You can use your signal boost to help guide you if needed. Interact with the radio and complete the frequency puzzle. Raise the bars high enough to match and then spread them out enough to match. Doing so will turn the radio on and give you a broadcast.

The broadcast will play you a message and you will need to pay very close attention to this broadcast as it is different for everyone. The broadcast will mention 4 items that are within the room. You will need to identify these items and remember the order they appear in the broadcast. Turn on your blacklight. Next to each item will be a number which you need to remember for the next code. Once you’ve figured out the correct numbers and correct order its time to head back upstairs.

Cracking The Safe
You can now head all the way back down the hall, back upstairs and to the main level. From here head back to Marshall and go past him into the front area and up the stairs. At the top of the stairs on the upper level hang two lefts to get to the bedroom where you will find the safe to the left of the bed. Enter your code in and open the safe!

Once opened you will earn yourself $1000 to spend on safe house upgrades, the case cracker knife skin blueprint, as well as the achievement/trophy “BO6 – The Puzzles, Mason”.
