Check out our review for Drova – Forsaken Kin HERE, and find out why it’s a CRPG worthy of (a lot of) your time!
There are over a hundred quests in Drova – Forsaken Kin. The developers at Indie studio Just2D made sure their fledgling title was packed with things to do, see, find and fight. Speaking of fighting, let’s take a look at how to track down Bady, the formidable champion of the Arena, and have a fair fight with them.
But we aren’t rocking up and knocking this guy out just for glory or to prove a point, we have ulterior motives. One of the trophies/achievements in Drova – Forsaken Kin is called ‘Conquered the Arena’, and it requires that you to have a fight with Bady on an equal playing field. He also happens to reward you with a really good item for players using swords or axes, so there’s that too.

Originally found around the arena in the North West corner of the Remnant’s Camp, Bady will leave at chapter two and not return. According to other NPCs he’s training out in the wilderness, common practise for the gladiator.
Now that he has left the machinations of the arena, you can seek out and have your fair fight with Bady, unlocking the ‘Conquered the Arena’ trophy/achievement.The toughest thing about this is the fight with Bady himself, but the way to reach him is also easy to miss.
World Map

1.
Starting at the entrance to the Remnant’s Camp, head to the right and follow the road out of the ruins. Once you reach the crossroads at the shrine, continue North.

Soon you’ll come to a fork in the road, take the right path and follow that over the shallow crossing of the river.

On the other side of the river, take the road heading North.

You’ll see another shrine at another crossroads, just keep going North along the path.

2.
The path slopes up and ends, marked with a rune stone warning of danger. Head across the dried up waterbed to the left.

Keep an eye out for the shallow water bridge in the image below. This is the inconspicuous entrance to Bady’s training area. Cross it and head up the dirt path.

Following the dirt path will lead you straight to Bady, you may even hear him training as you approach.
Here’s our man, and he’s ready to fight! Bady is no pushover, switching between different weapons on the fly, with what feels like an infinite source of focus for abilities and spells.

But beating Bady is definitely worth it for that “Conquered the Arena” trophy/achievement, and the reward he gives you!

Congratulations! You’ve beaten the baddest dude in the arena, and now can call yourself the champion!
