Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Season 6 Content Breakdown

Diablo 4 The Vessel of Hatred is coming October 8th and we got a chance to play it! We have a lot of content surrounding this amazing new addition to Diablo 4, so be sure to check out our review and Youtube page for all the cool goodies!

“Blessing of Viz-Jun past” is the steed you unlock instantly upon purchase of the battle pass

For right now I wanna dig in to what you will be unlocking in Season 6 Hatred Rising. Lets talk about what you will get for FREE first. This season has some of the best free content in my opinion. You get to unlock the “Swashbuckler’s” outfit. You will get the last piece of this outfit at level 65. This comes with a lot of gold and skull themed weapons and skull themed decorations for your horse. At level 13 you unlock a “town portal” that is blue surrounded by treasure chests overflowing with gold.

If you decide to pick up this season pass you will get the chance to unlock this glowing blue “Soul Drinker” armor along with its 3 tongued steed “Curse of Viz-jun”. On your journey to unlocking this stunning armor, you will be granted “Soul Drinker” weapons which also glow blue.

Level 90 unlock “Curse of Viz-jun” Steed

Just like all season passes before this one, there will be a level cap of 90. With the accelerated battle pass, you will skip the first 25 tiers. It’s also worth noting that by the time you’ve finished the season pass you should receive roughly 680 Platinum back.

level 50 reward is when you first get a piece of “soul drinker” armor

How obtainable is this? Well, Leaving out the accelerated battle pass, its fairly simple to obtain. My experience with it so far has been slightly slower than the last season. However, I wasn’t trying hard to complete the pass considering I’ll have to restart my progress when it actually releases.

When it comes to the challenges in the season journey, they are a lot easier than usual. So don’t stress, even a newcomer will be able to get these challenges completed without quitting their day job. To give you an idea, I listed some of the challenges listed below:

  • Speak with Crusader Damond
  • Collect 100 bundled herbs throughout sancuary
  • defeat a world boss
  • clear a strounghold
  • complete 5 dungeons
  • craft 5 elixers
“Soul Drinker” Armor

The last 3 chapters are usually the hardest challenges. Below is a random list of some of those challenges:

  • Defeat Tormented Echo of Varshan
  • Defeat 666 monsters in Torment 1 or higher
  • Collect 100 Obducite from Infernal Hordes
  • Open Greater Spoils of Hell chest after defeating The Fell Council in Infernal Hordes
  • Defeat 10 world bosses
  • Improve a paragon glyph to rank 45 by running The Pit
  • Masterwork gear to Rank 8 at the Blacksmith

As you can see, even the hardest ones have simplicity to them. You get progress in those endgame challenges even before you unlock the chapter those challenges are in. If you plan on playing the DLC and aren’t sure you will want to play more, I suggest getting the accelerated pass. But if you are wanting to get your new Souls-Born Class to max rank, I would stick with standard. Even if you don’t purchase is, you are in for a treat with all these cool pirate themed gear.

If you want a closer look at all of the content, I take a deep dive on all the content included in the season pass. Just check out the Youtube video below!
