Were you one of the many people to wake up today and jump in a (digital) line in hopes to pick up a pre-order of the PlayStation 5 Pro edition? You likely noticed you wern't alone, with some reporting the wait times being over an hour with other retailers selling out before people ever got their chance.
There had been a lot of chatter online since the Pro's announcement earlier this month, with fans discussing just how in demand a console that costs $700 ($959 here in Canada) would be. At least on day 1, that demand appears to be high enough to sell out in places.

Without many details however, it's hard to say just how in demand the consoles are. While selling out is always a cause for celebration we simply don't know how many were available for this first batch of pre-orders, nor do we know how many actual gamers were able to successfully pre-order one compared to the scalpers we typically see anytime a major piece of limited available hardware goes up for sale. Hopefully it was the former rather than the latter.
Were you one of the lucky ones to get one? Does your country still have some available (as of this writing it's still available here in Canada at Best Buy and GameStop)? Let us know in the comments how you are feeling!
