PlayStation has been busy ramping up celebrations for its upcoming 30th anniversary and today they have announced perhaps the coolest celebration yet.

With a blog post today PlayStation showed off a few limited edition PlayStation 5's to celebrate their 30 year history. The console colouring pays homage to the original PlayStation that launched on December 3rd 1994. These consoles will be extremely limited and likely to sell out quite fast.

There will be 12,300 units of the PlayStation 5 Pro Console 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle available for customers to purchase, with limited edition numbers etched onto the unit. The number represents the month and date of the first PlayStation console launch.

Pre-orders will go live September 26th at participating retailers and countries where direct.playstation.com is available (U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Austria.)
