A new listing on the Entertainment Software Ratings Board website has revealed a Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered is in the works, expected to launch on PS5 and PC.
Originally reported on by gaming news outlets back in 2022, this is solid confirmation of its existence but offers no release date information. There was a PC version of the game released back in 2020, but it is believed this new remaster will bring the original closer to parity with its sequel, Horizon: Forbidden West.

With the Lego Horizon Adventures game releasing later this year, the much speculated on Horizon multiplayer game, and projects across other forms of media, it seems PlayStation are betting a lot on the Guerilla Games IP.
Horizon Zero Dawn originally released back in 2017 and instantly became one of PlayStation's biggest IPs. Playing as Aloy you are thrown into a post-apocalyptic United States in the 31st century where giant mechanical dinosaurs roam the world. Zero Dawn was revered for its gameplay and stunning graphics and of course it's not a PlayStation game without a great narrative and characters.
We are not likely to hear more about the game until PlayStation hold their next State of Play event, but it’s safe to say that Horizon fans have plenty to look forward to.
