Genshin Impact has arguably been the biggest game of this entire generation. It is by far the biggest game not on the Xbox platform. For Xbox fans that is finally about to change.

Today at Gamescom's opening night live it was announced that Genshin Impact will be coming to Xbox consoles November 17th. Not only that, it will also be dropping into Xbox Game Pass that same day.
For those unfamiliar, Genshin Impact is an action RPG game as a service with an anime art style that released on mobile, PlayStation 4 and PC back in 2020. While it is free to play it has a fairly aggressive micro transaction system with its gacha system which produces billions of dollars in revenue per year.
Xbox has been criticized in the past for games like Genshin Impact skipping the platform so this will be a welcome announcement to many.
