While we reminisced about the Silent Hill 2 of yesteryear, Bloober team has been hard at work giving the game a revamp, and today we got an an extended look at their ambitious remake.
With the release date of Silent Hill 2 growing ever closer it only makes since that hype would need to be drummed up more and more and Blooper Team and Konomi has done that by dropping a new story trailer this morning via the Playstation YouTube channel.
That’s not all we got this morning either as far as Silent Hill 2 Remake is concerned. Along with a new story trailer dropping on the Playstation YouTube channel, IGN dropped a new preview of the game. According to the video, they got to play about 3 hours of the game. Their thoughts can be found in the video below.
Along with the new over the shoulder view, they highlight a new dodge mechanic put in the game. It looks like based on what’s available in the video, we are getting a pretty faithful remake. They do take a stab at the video acting, which depending if you’re a returning fan or a new one may or may not mean much. It’s also very nice to see Eddie finally show up in one of these trailers.
