The long awaited day is finally here. If you’re a Final Fantasy fan and have been waiting for news on the PC port, the wait is nearly over.
Today, the official Final Fantasy 16 Twitter/X account announced that the PC port of the game will drop on Steam and Epic games on September 17th, 2024.

Not only was the PC port dated, but there’s also a demo for the game available to download and play right now. According to the Steam page, the game will run you $49.99 USD for the standard edition and $69.99 for the complete edition, which includes The Echos Of The Fallen and The Rising Tide DLC.
While our site wasn't around when Final Fastasy 16 first launched we did review The Rising Tide DLC calling it a beautiful addition to Final Fantasy XVI.

Those who pre-purchase the game on either platform will also receive the following in-game DLC items:
- Brave Blade Weapon
- Cait Sith Charm (Gil Boost Accessory)
- "Sixteen Bells" Orchestrion Roll
The game originally launched on PlayStation 5 on June 22nd, 2023, to overall good fan fair, earning a review score of 87 a snagging a user score of 8.1 on metacritic.
