I feel like I'm writing this opening on a daily basis. The 2025 release window for games is quickly filling up as games continue to drop from 2024 with indie game Replaced the latest to do so.
Today developer Sad Cat Studios has announced that Replaced, 2.5D sci-fi retro-futuristic action platformer where you play as R.E.A.C.H. – an artificial intelligence trapped in a human body against its own will, has been delayed to 2025.
Replaced, which is currently an Xbox console exclusive (day 1 on Xbox Game Pass) that's also releasing on Steam, Epic and GOG has seen a multitude of delays because of the ongoing war in Ukraine. Taking to X on the official Replaced account they posted the following image.

Luckily for those going to Gamescom next week they will have a chance to get hands on with Replaced. As always while delays suck it's best to get the best product out. Also considering the circumstances they should be afforded all the time they need.
