Christmas has come early for Xbox Game Pass members! Ok maybe that's a bit of an over reaction, but we got an early announcement today as Mafia Definitive Edition will be dropping into the service in August.

While we typically would see the latest round of games to be hitting Xbox Game Pass announced in the next day or two, the folks over at 2K couldn't contain their excitement as they announced that the remake of Mafia will join the service August 13th.

Mafia Definitive Edition released September 25th 2020 for Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4/5 and PC. It is a remake of the original 2002 Mafia game set within the fictional city of Lost Heaven, Illinois, during the 1930s, and follows the rise and fall of Tommy Angelo, a Sicilian American can driver-turned-gangster, within the Salieri crime family.
Having personally played it when it released I can say if you haven't played this yet and you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription you should definitely check it out.
