Heihachi Mishima Revealed For Tekken 8

Another announcement during the EVO fighting game tournament, the third DLC character for Tekken 8 has been revealed and it’s none other than longtime series staple Heihachi, a character everyone thought was dead but… That never matters in the world of fictional media.

No official date yet on when Heihachi will launch just yet. Although the date shouldn’t be far off as he’s expected to launch in autumn of this year, which i would have to guess would mean a September release date.

Tekken 8 launched earlier this year to widespread critical acclaim and although people are wondering how he’s alive after getting chucked into a volcano, fans are glad to see Heihachi come back. Tekken 8 has one more character in its first season of DLC to come this winter. The question is whether they bring back another series staple? Or do they go with a guest as Tekken 7 had many unique guests from Akuma and Geese Howard from Street Fighter and fatal fury respectively, to Negan from the walking dead.

A lifelong gamer who enjoys playing on every platform. Eventually, I grew to love fighting games in particular and began to compete and even win competitions for some games, primarily the 2013 revival of killer instinct. Outside of gaming I also have aspirations of being a comic book artist with a few ideas of my own im developing in my head. When reviewing any game I try to keep my mind open and avoid nitpicking too much. It takes a lot for something to detract me from truly enjoying it so I may not focus on smaller details the way some others might do. I enjoy almost any genre, just don't ask me to play horror games or puzzle games.
