Easy Achievement / Trophy Games: Week of July 15th – 21st

There are only three short games on the radar for this week. Following a flurry of releases in recent weeks, this one seems rather dry. Frogurai, a puzzle game, from Ratalaika is a stand out quick 10 minute completion. You can also find some action with Road Punk Mayhem and Shield King.

RPM – Road Punk Mayhem (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5)

Estimated Completion Time: 1-2 Hours
Publisher: EastAsiaSoft
Developers: Panda Indie Studio, EastAsiaSoft
Release Date: July 17, 2024
Xbox Store Links: Xbox
Playstation Store Links:PS4/PS5

Just the one achievement list available in Xbox. Trophy stack available on PlayStation between the PS4 and PS5 along with cross-buy.

Road Punk Mayhem (RPM) is a challenging top down vertical shoot em’up combined with bullet hell mayhem. You start the game with 2 continues, however it is quite difficult to complete the game with only those. You can gain an extra continue after you beat the 2nd levels boss. So it’s recommended to beat that boss, die and restart until you build up 6 to 7 continues to go for the full completion.

The game also features a warp ability that you’ll need to get used to using quick. You won’t be able to dodge all the bullets coming at you so using this feature will be the key to victory. Use bombs to destroy roadblocks and make sure to pickup the fuel and stopwatches scattered throughout the levels.

With a little bit of determination you’ll make it to the end of this game and grab yourself another completion.

Frogurai (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5)

Estimated Completion Time: 10-30 minutes
Publisher: Ratalaika Games
Developers: Nibb Games
Release Date: July 19, 2024
Xbox Store Links: Xbox
Playstation Store Links: PS4/PS5

One achievement list available on Xbox. Trophy stack between the PS4 & PS5 versions along with cross-buy.

Frogurai is definitely the fastest completion available this week. With a guide you’ll be done this game in around 10 minutes. This is a sliding puzzle game and your objective is to make it to the exit while having your frog samurai kill all of the snakes on each level. You will also need to pickup the golden toad on at least 20 of the levels. The game features 50 levels along with a speedrun mode. You’ll need to complete 25 levels for the full achievement completion.

Frogure is definitely a cute game and I recommend this one if your looking for a quick completion.

Shield King (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, PS4, PS5)

Estimated Completion Time: 2-3 Hours
Publisher: AFIL Games
Developers: AFIL Games
Release Date: July 17, 2024
Xbox Store Links: Xbox, Windows
Playstation Store Links: PS4/PS5

Just the one achievement list available on Xbox at this time. The game will be releasing on Windows in the near future with an achievement stack available at that time. Another PS4/PS5 trophy along with cross-Buy available on PlayStation and currently 50% off until August 1st.

This game has released with 2,000 Gamerscore on Xbox. You will need to beat up to level 20 for the full completion. This game arms you with only a trash can lid against a zombie horde. To complete levels you will need to dash into enemies with your “shield” to wear them down. You will occasionally encounter merchants where you can purchase new shields and upgrade them. Enemies killed also drop tons of power ups so make sure you’re equipping those from your item menu along the way and using them.
