New Star Wars Outlaws Gameplay Shown

A 10 minute video of Star Wars Outlaws gameplay has been shown off as part of IGN Firsts. A mission featuring a very familiar Star Wars locale, Tatooine, as Key Vess travels through a dead Sarlacc (no one tell Boba Fett) in search of a tooth from the creature. She then finds herself having to go through an enemy base in which we see a mix of stealth gameplay involving Key’s companion Nix followed by a shootout.

The gameplay looks similar to Ubisoft’s other offerings, taking cues from Watchdogs over any of their other IPs. It’s not surprising that it’s similar to one of their own IPs as their earlier licensed game this year, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was very similar to Far Cry.

Some have made notes about the graphics looking a little weak in some areas but, it is important to remember that these builds often tend to be months old.

Star Wars Outlaws launches on August 30, 2024.

A lifelong gamer who enjoys playing on every platform. Eventually, I grew to love fighting games in particular and began to compete and even win competitions for some games, primarily the 2013 revival of killer instinct. Outside of gaming I also have aspirations of being a comic book artist with a few ideas of my own im developing in my head. When reviewing any game I try to keep my mind open and avoid nitpicking too much. It takes a lot for something to detract me from truly enjoying it so I may not focus on smaller details the way some others might do. I enjoy almost any genre, just don't ask me to play horror games or puzzle games.
