Gori: Cuddly Carnage is set to release next month and it's sure to be a bloody good time. So much so that it's been censored in Asia because of all the blood. Thankfully developer Angry Demon and publisher Wired Productions have managed to turn the censorship into a great story by running a blood donor campaign.
As announced by Wired Productions X account Gori is just too darn bloody for Asia. For those unfamiliar with the game, you play as Gori, a hoverboard riding cat who hacks and slashes his way through evil unicorns. The game itself is quite, well gory. So much so that it had to be censored in Asia to tone down all the blood pouring onto your screen.

While censorship is generally a bad thing, the studio and publisher have chosen to lean into it by creating a blood donation run. As per the post if you book an appointment with your local blood bank and post an image of yourself giving blood with #GorisGotBlood the studio will list your name in the credits under "Life Saver"
All in all this is a great way to turn the situation into a Paws-itive and Wired and Angry Demon deserve a ton of credit for it.
Gori: Cuddly Carnage releases August 29th on Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
