Capcom's latest attempt at recreating their Dino Crisis magic has come to an end just 1 year after launch.
Today Capcom announced that season 4 of Exoprimal, which ends July 11th, would be the games last new season, this ending it's run of new content. Once season 4 ends the game will revert back to season 1 content and start the cycle over again.

Capcom had hoped Exoprimal would become the next big live service game for them as they chose the co-op mech dinosaur shooter over it's more proven IP Dino Crisis. Despite announcing previously that the game had over a million players and that they expected the game to be profitable it appears that it likely didn't do as well as they had hoped.
All of the games functions will remain live so there is, at least for now, no worries that the game or any of its modes won't be playable. They have also said that if you are playing solo or in a group with less players they will add bots to help with the experience.
Exoprimal released in July 2023 and launched day 1 into Xbox Game Pass. No word on how long it will stay in the service or if it will perhaps join a service such as PlayStation Plus to gain a boost.
