Hypercharge Unboxed Marches Past 100K Sales On Xbox

We’ve been following the success of Hypercharge Unboxed for quite some time now. It’s been one of the better feel good stories of gaming in 2024, especially when it comes to Xbox. Today the developer has announced that the game has hit a huge milestone for an indie, crossing the 100,000 sales mark less than a month after its release.

The little indie that could continues to surpass all expectations as it was supposed to be dead on arrival on Xbox according to some fans since it wasn’t releasing on Xbox Game Pass. Xbox gamers don’t buy games after all right? Well Xbox fans rallied around the game and its paid off in a big way. While some have said the only reason it’s selling well is because of “cheap” marketing tactics, I think it’s become quite clear that Hypercharge Unboxed being great is what is making it a hit.

What sets the game apart from games within the shooter genre is its unique look and great maps. There really isn’t much else on the market like it and it shows. Having been released on PC and the Nintendo Switch years ago it seems like Hypercharge Unboxed has really found its footing on the Xbox platform. The sky seems to be the limit for this little indie game and it can only get bigger from here, especially when the game launches on PlayStation as early as late 2024.
