College Football 25 Sights and Sounds Deep Dive

Today EA released detailed information on all the hard work the developers have put into making EA College Football 25, sound and look like college football. The developers spent a lot of time focusing on the overall presentation of college football and had the philosophy that “Every team is someone’s favorite team”. With that, they put so much detail into the sights, sounds and traditions of the sport we all love to watch and play. So let’s jump into all the amazing behind the scenes details we got today.

Dives into the endzone…..

EA has pledge their love for college football and it’s going to show in this game. They have developers from the schools such as Penn State, pouring their blood sweat and tears in this game. From the start of the game you get the full visuals and sounds as your team walks out the tunnel and the fans are chanting and your theme song is blasting throughout the stadium.

They went above and beyond to include every teams tradition in EA College Football 25. This includes those classic run outs like Clemson running down the hill to touch “Howards Rock” as they take the field. The used motion capture to authenticate the interaction with props and mascots. They built a setup of the Notre Dame stairs that lead to the players tapping the classic “Play Like A Champion” sign as they walk out. They traveled to Florida to get an exact scan of the Gator statue the players touch, Georgia and other schools tear through banners as they hit the field.

War Damn Eagle…….

Speaking of traditions, you can’t have college football without the Mascots. EA College Football will feature 50 mascots, which include 40 of the costumes and 10 real animals representing their school. So be prepared to see the Penn State Nittany Lion doing push ups and Boomer and Sooner pulling the wagon for Oklahoma. Each mascot will be near perfect down to the small details. Boomer and Sooner both have “OU” painted on their nails and how the Stanford Tree changes from year to year.

That New Hotness…

We have plenty of old traditions but EA also included the new ones as well. I’m referring to the new turnover traditions. You grab that interception out the air or pick up that fumble and you get to see that schools new turnover tradition. The action will take place during the gameplay and you can see championship belts to thrones. This will make getting those turnovers even more fun.

Read option or 4 verts…

Ea has developed a new playcall screen called the PIP Dynamic Playcall experience. Here you will experience replays, stats and other information and where you will pick you play. Here’s an explanation from the developers “Once the play is finished, the screen shrinks to the top left corner as replays and pageantry continue to show, you can start navigating the playbook while also viewing important updates / informative data in the top right corner.” You will see information like, who the impact players are, stat comparisons, top players from around the country and more.

EA College Football is set be an amazing game with just the things I mentioned and they have so much more in their full breakdown. Crowd noise, dynamic attendance, hand signals, chants and a whole lot more. You can click here to go to the EA College Football Sights and Sounds website for the full breakdown and details of everything offered. EA College Football drops July 19, 2024 but if you pre order the deluxe or MVP bundle you will get to the play the game 3 days early.
