Move over Pokémon and Palworld, there's a new contender in the genre. At least that's what Xbox and 11 Bit Studios is hoping for.
Xbox has been pushing hard lately into the monster catching genre and today 11 bit studios has announced that their take on the genre is releasing on Xbox and PC August 7th. The game will launch into Xbox Game Pass as well and join Palworld as a current console exclusive for Xbox.
The biggest difference between Creatures of Ava is that it is all about saving the creatures rather than capturing them. It is certainly a unique spin on the genre and it will be interesting to see how the studio does it.
As per 11 Bit Studios themselves they describe the game as:
"Let your empathy guide you as you play an exciting action-adventure, creature-saver game. Understand and tame the creatures of Ava and let them lead you through a variety of ecosystems - all in the hopes of saving the planet from a life-consuming infection.”
With the August 7th release date it is joining a long, growing list of Xbox exclusives and games coming day 1 to Game Pass. If you are an Xbox fan you will definitely have your hands full the rest of the year it seems.
