I absolutely love these hidden cats games. Not gonna lie, I get really excited when Silesia Games releases a new game in this series. It reminds me so much of Where’s Waldo from when I was a kid. This is so much better though. This iteration of Hidden Cats takes you to the city of Paris. As you find cats on the map everything gets colorful and comes alive. If you find the secret named hidden cats on hard mode you unlock special mini levels. The games are not too time consuming, you can enjoy them at your own pace and you definitely do not need a guide. Super relaxing, great for any age and I can’t recommend these games enough!

Roxy Racoon’s Pinball Panic is .. you guessed it, a pinball game. The game features a fun story mode that tasks you with completing different interactive stages to stop a witch from spreading her evil dark magic across the land. There’s several modes for players to enjoy with this game. Story Mode, Pinball (which features another 5 distinct modes such as Score and Time Attack) and Rapid Ryan’s Arcade (which features zany arcade modes such as hockey, plinko and ski ball).

I’m not a fantastic pinball player, but I did have fun with this game. It’s definitely more on the skill dependent side for an easy completion. After 2 hours playing this game I found myself with 815 Gamerscore.

This game came absolutely out of left field for me. Had no idea this was based on a Nicholas Cage movie, which I absolutely need to watch now. Fights and crazy animatronics. This game is a side scrolling beat em up. You play as either the Janitor or a girl named Liv. The 7 levels are pretty short and you can choose your difficulty. Once you beat the game with one character if you complete the last level with the opposite character you will earn all achievements for completing the game without having to do a 2nd play through. There are special powers your characters can use to make fights much easier: Vitality, Burst and Combo Time Buffs. There are also 2 high damage specialty attacks, Charge and Whirlwind, that you can occasionally use as well.

This game is not the prettiest but I had fun going for Gamerscore in this one. Now I just need to figure out where to stream Willy’s Wonderland this weekend …

Froggy Bouncing Adventures is a cute 2D puzzle platformer where you play the titular role of the frog. The game features 60 levels split across 4 distinct biomes. You can chose your game mode to make it easier with checkpoints. As you play through the levels you gain special abilities such as dash and double jump. The goal is to make it to the warp door at the end of each level. For the achievement hunters out there you can find special characters hidden throughout some of the levels. You can also collect coins to buy different hats for Froggy to change his aesthetic. This game is a quick completion and one of the easier platformers.

Prison of Illusion is back this week with an Xbox Series X|S release. There is already an Xbox One version available.

This game is a quick platformer. If you’re looking for some easy Gamerscore don’t miss out on this one. This game should be getting a Title Update to 2,000 Gamerscore soon as well.

Lost Chiko 2 is another easy puzzle platformer for this week. It features 50 levels and 5 different biomes. You will need to do some quests for NPCs in levels to be able to move on which is an interesting change. Apparently the game is on the glitchy side so it’s recommended to do the game in one sitting and avoid purchasing or picking up a duck toy in one of the levels at this time.
