Capcom Enjoys Record Year

Capcom has announced their 2024 year end fiscal report, and if you like Capcom it’s certainly great news.

For the fiscal year, which ended March 31st 2024, Capcom sold a record 45.89 million units in that time. The highlights of the year were Street Fighter 6 which sold 3.3 million units and Dragon’s Dogma 2 which sold 2.63 million units, not to mention their extensive back catalog.

Net sales were up 21% and net profits up 18%. This marks the 7th consecutive year that Capcom has achieved record profits and 11th consecutive year of seeing their operating income grow.

Capcom is also forecasting an even bigger year in the 2025 fiscal year with Monster Hunter Wilds due out. There is also the heavily rumoured Resident Evil 9, which if released this fiscal calendar would give them two of the biggest games of the year.

Considering what is happening in the industry right now it is certainly a breath of fresh air to see Capcom not only doing so well, but rewarding their employees with raises. Take a bow Capcom, you deserve it.
