Not as many lightning quick releases for the achievement/trophy hunters out there this week. Out of 6 quick completion games released only one is sub 30 minutes. The majority of the releases are in the 1-2 hour range.
Botany Manor (Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows)
Botany Manor was released on April 9th. The game was published by Whitethorn Games and developed by Balloon Studios. The game is available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. This game has a stack available between the Xbox and Windows version.
Botany Manor has you traversing a manor garden, solving puzzles and growing various plants. I really enjoyed this game. Puzzles are well thought out and lots to explore. Completion can be achieved in 1-2 hours if following a guide.
Perfect Ninja Painter 2 (Windows)
Perfect Ninja Painter 2 for Windows was released on April 9th. The game was published and developed by SilenGames. This game was previously released on Xbox, however the Windows version now provides an achievement stack for this game. This game has already been updated to 2,000 Gamerscore.
This is a fun little puzzle game. Very quick and fast Gamerscore. Collect stars, pick up the correct paint pots and paint everything the right color. The completion should take less than 30 minutes with or without a guide.
Reed 2 (Xbox Series X/S)
Reed 2 for Xbox Series X/S was released on April 9th. The game was published by Ratalaika Games and developed by PXLink. This is a reissue of the same game that was released on Xbox One. Now there is a stack available for the Xbox Series X/S version.
Reed 2 is a platformer that can be frustrating at times. The goal is to collect 3 cubes on each level to have the exit door open. Completion can be achieved in less than an hour, however this is skill dependent.
SokoFrog (Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4)
SokoFrog was published on April 10th. Published by Eastasiasoft and developed by Solluco and Eastasiasoft.
SokoFrog is a variation Soko-Ban puzzle game. The goal is to push the box on it’s matching tile switch to unlock the level exit. As you progress through the 100 levels the stages themes will change along with the mechanics. This game has released with 2,000 Gamerscore available. Sokofrog has a cross buy option on PlayStation. There is a PS4/PS5 stack along with an EU regional stack. Completion time could take less than an hour with a guide.
Outer Terror (Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4)
Outer Terror released on April 12th. Published by Ratalaika Games and developed by Salt & Pixel and VoxPop Games. There is one achievement list available on Xbox. On PlayStation there is a PS5/PS4 stack along with EU regional stacks.
Outer Terror is not as quick as some other games. I estimate that the completion could take anywhere from 4-10 hours. The game is a zombie horde shooter. I did enjoy playing this one. Unfortunately I ran into some glitches which prohibited level progression. There’s 5 different volumes or chapters to play through which all have different stories to complete, however it can be difficult to figure out what your next objective is. There is not a lot of guidance. As you level up you can pick different weapons that add to your firepower. Everything in this game is auto-fire which is nice. You can collect money as you play to buy upgrades from the main menu. This game will most certainly give you old school horror game vibes.
Coffee, Plis (Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One)
Coffee, Plis released on April 12th. Published by Cube Games and developed by Diverte Games. There is only one achievement list available on Xbox.
The goal of this game is to take customer orders, serve pastries and make coffees as fast as possible. The controls can be unresponsive in this game making it frustrating when you’re trying to complete tasks as fast as possible. This completion will take approximately 1-2 hours.
