The demo for the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive, Stellar Blade, has been given an honest-to-goodness release date. This Friday 29 March to be precise! The demo gives you access to the first two-hours of the action game, with all your progress carrying over to the full release.

Of course, we knew it was coming after the demo was accidentally released a couple of weeks ago, and pulled shortly afterwards. But not before some lucky folk got to have a go. That particular debacle prompted a thoughtful piece from our own Gamer Social Club creator on the consumer safeguards lacking in digital rights and digital ownership.

Sony and developer Shift Up made the announcement through a short teaser trailer:
