The indie development scene has always proven to foster some of the most creative ideas that push the boundaries of gaming, and it looks like developer Tomas Sala and publisher Wired Productions is doing just that with Bulwark:The Falconeer Chronicles and it's twitch integration.

The game is a new city builder in The Falconeer world. Many of you may remember the original game that was an Xbox Series S/X exclusive launch title before later releasing on PlayStation and was an aerial combat game where you controlled a Falcon. The game had a gorgeous art style and was a solid debut game. Bulwark, while set in the same universe is a much different game. In Bulwark you build up your own fortress to defend in the war.

But now here's the exciting news that dropped yesterday via a post on X and trailer.
If you are a streamer on Twitch you will be able to quite literally integrate your own community and chat into the game. Your chat will be able to insert their own character into your game just by typing into your chat with their own twitch username. They will also be able to make events happen within your world, both positive and negative. In the trailer above you see the chat call for a war on the streamer who isn't prepared and gets shot down.

This is something I personally have never seen in a game before and it is a very unique feature. As streaming becomes more and more popular it will be quite interesting to see how well this helps the game.
We can't wait to see what the full game will become. The demo is out now and the full release is coming March 26th.
